W E L C O M E !Yes, we're another drabble community! You might be thinking there are plenty of these around, but we think the more drabble communities the merrier!!! (In fact, if you maintain a drabble or fanfic community here at LJ and would like to be an affiliate, please comment here. We'd love to add you to our affiliate list!)
(You can suggest a challenge topic here.) Q: First off, precisely what is a drabble? A: Read the ANSWER. Yes, we do allow members to share double-drabbles and ficlets -- as long as they stick to the main restriction, which is that they must be exactly 100, (200, 300, 400) or 500 words long. (By increments of 100, with not one word less or more.) Q: What are the community goals? A: This community was created for the Writing, Sharing and Feedbacking of fandom-related drabbles. Q: What do you mean by 'fandom-related' drabbles? A: Read the ANSWER. Q: Who can join? A: Anyone who can reply 'yes' to one of the following: If you said 'yes' to even one of those statements, this is definately a community for you! A: Read the ANSWER. You'll need to know the rules to participate here. This is where we spell it all out so you'll understand and feel comfortable when you post. Q: Can you give me an overview of the rules? A: If you're planning to post here, you'll still need to check out this important entry. But here are the rules in a nutshell! Q: I don't know how to post to a community! Can you explain it to me? A: LiveJournal has kindly done that for us! Go and read this. (Be sure to click on 'Read More' to get a detailed explanation.) (Still confused? Go here and comment.) Q: Do you require the use of the lj-cut tag? A: Yes, we do. You can read all about how to use the (wonderful) lj-cut tag here. Here's the basic code: [highlight, copy and paste the code] Q: Do you monitor behavior -- make sure comments aren't nasty/flaming? A: All members are asked to 'play nice.' This is a friendly community created to be a fun place for everyone. (Flaming is a BANNING offense.) N O T E : If someone behaves offensively, PLEASE don't take matters into your own hands. Refrain from responding and CONTACT a maintainer for assistance. Q: How can I improve as a drabble writer? A: Please read this entry -- and feel free to comment. We're interested in what you have to say! O T H E R N O T E S View our AFFILIATES. That's it, though we reserve the right to update this page regularly.
